Yes but most the bids were from "Irish Buyer" with a feedback score of 0

Look at the bid history. "IrishBuyer" joined Ebay on December 31, 2007, and is really working the bid

For the $187 paid for them, they are really made from Gold and painted black and the grips must be made from other precious material!

They aren't worth the first $10 bid. They really aren't worth the charges E-Bay will collect. This has to be bogus.

That's why, when I auction things off I try to remember to put the "seller deserves the right to cancel bid on buyers with less than 10 feedbacks" Now if the seller writes a bad feedback for non-payment, this guy can ruin his 100% favorable feedback rating. I forgot to add this line to my last auction and sweat bullets for 7 days !!

Looks to me like "herndog9" has been pirated for the purpose of mischief, this isn't the sort of thing they've gone for in the past. But why a group of people would bogusly bid something like this up is beyond me. I've seen ridiculous items draw ridiculous bids, but this is just some guy trying to sell a tool.

Yup, irishbuyer4100 definitely a shill bidder and you're right someone else may have hijacked herndog9's signon. That tool would maybe fetch $2 at a swap meet or garage sale.

somebody hijacked my ebay id once... fortunately they didn't bid on anything, but they spammed about 50 people with PM's before ebay locked my account because of complaints. I think the seller is going to be very disappointed when he finally realizes that he isn't going to get $187 for his $2 crimpers.
