what does the "BBS" mean in the title The Home Shop Machinist & Machinist's Workshop BBS ?

BBS = Bulletin Board System, but I prefer McGyvers explanation :D

I always just use " BBs" with the lower case s to represent a plural.
When I realy use the BS for the other application. :-)

BBS is the Bulletin Board System.

Used to be a lot more local in the dial up days compared to where the Internet gets us go now. Imagine having pizza and beer and geeking out on machining every Friday with the rest of the users on the board.

Nowadays you can anonymously talk trash on boards and never have to live up to your claims.... as much. ;)
