Yes, Village Press does have a policy of no sale items on the board. However, there have been deviations from this policy in the past. John seems to have a real and pressing need to sell off his shop quickly; I have no problem giving a guy a little help when he needs it.

Of course this does not mean that we have changed any policies, only that the rules can be bent from time to time.

John,
Sorry to hear of your misfortune. We faced something similar a few years ago and only by the grace of God did I (just barely) manage to avoid offloading my shop. I hope all goes well for you and yours.

Georege,
Welcome. And that was damned nice of you!

`George... Now that was a class act! Glad to hear you aren't scared to bend the rules... in this case.. a "sorta" good thing. I say "sorta" because I don't like to hear of guys needing the money so bad they have to sell out.

hate to hear that. If moving, and if you hold mineral rights, be aware the Barnett Shale formation is being aggresively drilled in the area. Typical deal is ~$17K.acre for a 2-3 yr lease, and 25% royalty. Don't let mineral rights go for nothing.

It sadden's me as well to hear this. The world economy is tanking fast is seem's. I have upped the level of respect to all you folk's as I've been lurking about on this board for awhile. And I am allways surprised of the time and effort the members are willing to share. In China the funny little symbol for crisis is the same one for opertunity. (So I am told anyway). I don't do Chinese.

Good luck
