No experience, but would like to have a chance at reading the manual before purchasing one.

Too many tools look great, till you read the manual and find that in operation it's easier to train baboons.

Others, (hvae a few of these) look totally useless till you have it in your hand.

I guess it depends in part on what you want to do with it. Since carpenters have been laying out roof rafters and stairs for centuries quite successfully using a plain steel square, I'd be wondering if the advantages of this thing would be worth it. If one were doing carpentry for a living, where "time is money," and if it enabled significant time saving, it almost certainly would be worth it. But for occasional use, I think it might be pretty difficult to justify.
