    OT Spark Plugs

Would substituting a plug without the resistor in it make any difference to the reliability and running of a lawn mower....other than radio interference

that is NGK BP 6ES instread of NGK BPR 6ES

also I've noticed that the resistor plugs are prone to going down ..and causing hard to diagnose problems.

    all the best.markj

It should be fine, but if you have neighbors who watch daytime TV while you're mowing, they're going to be ticked off.

I've always preffered using regular plugs, as you say the resistor plugs require a near perfect ignition system.
Had some serious reliability issues with a lawn mower and a roto-tiller that were solved by going to non-resistor plugs. with them plugs were always fouling out and were hard enough to start that I didn't like using them, with regular plugs they both turned into one or two pull machines.

if his neighbor is the blind guy, he may not even notice.
