View Full Version : Some stuff we're doing..

Here's the latest add on to the spec trailer we are rebuilding. This is a folding bar that makes it easy to tie down motorcycles.
When you don't need it and want to haul quads or sleds you just fold it back and it lays on the deck. The front ramps fold down so you can just drive the quads/sleds off the front. Gotta take the torch after the hinges on the ramps.. they're rusted tight and won't swivel.

Another kinda different one..
Guy bought some big wide mud tires for his quad.. then found out nobody makes wide wheels for his quad... so we did

I got a scrapper buddy.. he's looking for me some ratchet strap tie downs off a 18 wheeler trailer.. he has a whole yard full of them trailers cutting them up.

Diesel fuel prices have caused a large number of private truckers to "quit" and retire.. You do know what that will do to trucking prices as the privateers get out? UP UP UP.

Must be pretty decent set of rolls if you did them in-house Russ.

What sorta metal is that?

Torker ,with the amount of Golf courses being opened around you, Golf cart repair should be a money maker for you.

David.. I hear you about fuel prices... Geez... everything here is going up.
their biggest excuse is fuel price.
Darin... the trailer is now a true convertible. It'll easily haul any toy you want.
reason i thought up the front bar... the previous owned had a beautiful lil' XR 350 that fell off this trailer at 50 mph. Was too hard to tie it dowm right.
S&S... we just used the old open face roller I built a few years back.
I've done some heavy work with it and it's sprung a bit so you have to flip the hoop around the other way for the last roll. This wasn't too bad.. 3"X1/8" mild FB.
Quasi.. they fix golf carts??? Don't they just throw them away like evrything else today?
LOL! We could become the "Unique Whips" of golf carts.
Actually I'm going to maybe swing by a couple and drop off a card.
Thanks for the idea?

Golf carts are big here too, can't believe the money they get for those things,Most popular are gas burners with 4wd tall enough you have to climb up in.

Other thing are the Honda? Mules and JD Gators ridiculous money for those too.

It would have worked better at the begining if Russ had the rollers adjusted proper.............Lol :D
