TPG Inserts in a huge counterbore 45 and 48 millimeter ?? Would this be a viable project? I am thinking of building a nholder for the tpg inserts and also wondered what type of clearances in degrees should be machined into the individual pockets if any? Thanx Mike

Only using triangle inserts.

Looks easy enough to make.

Only using triangle inserts.

That uses square (SPEB) inserts. You need to cut on the downfeed and simultaneously widen the hole.
