Well it was raining all weekend so no sailing or biking and HSM was down for 2 days so I Flashed up the machinery and made that new brake pedal cover for the bike that has been on my list for a while. Had to do it manually as I donít have CNC. I think a licence plate surround would look good done like that too.

Thanks to rdesign for the idea in his thread except I used a ľ inch ball mill instead of the 3/8.

Now I suppose Iím going to have to make these for my biker friends just like I had to make a bunch of my handlebar helmet holders.:p

Nice job.

This is where a horizonal mill and a form cutter would come in handy.Hint, hint Russ.

Ernie.. now that stuff is just cool! And.. it'd get rid of those guys who ride in bare feet :D (go ahead sukker... stomp hard on THAT!)
Darin... yer right.. the horizontal would be nice for that.
Umm... did I say horizontal? I'm adding that big geezuz ol' Van Norman to the stable this Thursday. No idea where to put it...but it just looks cool with that BP head mounted to it. Might end up putting the head on my Ohio... I'll get Ernie to make me some cool stomp pedals for it!
Ernie.. I'm doing a bunch of stuff to a 750 Virago right now. Guys building it into a ridgid chopper riggin. I have to show him your stuff.... and maybe steal your idear :D

I always wondered how people got that knurled look on mill work. Ball end mills you say! Thanks!
