Just curious. How much would that be in us dollars, and what do you think freight to California would be?
Thanks Alistair.

According to the listing, they're not offering sale or shipping outside the UK.

The seller takes Paypal, and they do the currency conversion for you. The problem I had in the past when I sent a PayPal payment to a guy in Australia, is that PayPal subtracts a x% currency conversion fee from the final balance on the receiving end.

I can't remember what the fee was, but the seller was pissed (I didn't know about it), so I sent another payment to cover the conversion fee.

These days, 120.00 is a Billion USD :)

If I was being paid in Euro's, I'd be buying up American tooling like nobody's business :D

A billion might leave me a litle short till the end of the month:D .
I was hoping that I could intise Alistair to be My Agent in this matter for a reasonable fee, but I think He might be looking the other way right now.

At that price if you have a use for the machine it would be worth flying over and picking it up in person.

Ultrasonic generators for sonochemistry which are basically the same electronics and the same generator with a different probe assembly are between $4000 and $6000 new from Sonics and Materials. I don't know if they make lappers or not but a call to Mike Donaty at Sonics couldn't hurt.

Regards all,

Cameron
