Here's a plant stand I put together yesterday. I made a similar one last week for a benefit auction, and somebody wanted me to make another one just for them.
I notched the support arms two-at-a-time to fit the round bars on the ironworker so they'd line up well. The base is made of short sections of 1/4" x 1 1/2" flat bar scraps welded into open squares and stacked to form a pyramid. It's pretty stable, but I may add another layer to the base for insurance.
