Does anyone own, personally seen, or used one of these grinders?

I'm curious as to whether this is, or can be made into a useful tool grinder. I know that Shars used to sell these for about $900 but it is no longer on their website. Now I see that WT has it for alot less $$.

They are designed to sharpen single edge engraving cutters. Some people have successfully used them to sharpen other types of cutters, but setup could be a nightmare. I have one of those from WT and I consider it a POS. Having been familar with a real Deckel, this was just about unacceptable. Instead of sending it back, I decided to reengineer/rebuild it to usablility, which it now is. If I had it to do over, I would have tried to pick up a decent Gorton cutter grinder and if needed, rebuild it. At least, you would now have a quality unit. The prices for used Deckel SO's are a running joke, seeing that they are such a single purpose/limited use machine.
