I have no connection with the seller, just noticed it while browsing. Posted from their ad:

Very Large and underutilized.....

I don't have the room, it'd probably fall through my garage floor-plus it looks like it's already gone. Anybody here get it?

It's a strong possability that it will be put in service, if the guy is selling it at scrap price, odds are that a scrapper would turn it down. Wouldn't be too profitable to them.

I have seen a few lathes go for far less than scrap value on CL, and I'm pretty sure I know where they ended up.

The CL listing says "sliding". I wonder if that means the type lathe where the entire bed ways slide away from the headstock creating a gap?
