Another rookie problem.... I am looking for instructions for my 2 axis Bridgeport DRO. I know how to zero it and that's about it. It's vintage is 1995. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jimmy

Jimmy - nice engines!

As far as the readout - the buttons are self explanitory. the inch.metric switch is a no-brainer. The other buttons allow you to set offsets to make machining more straight forward. You will figure it out, but if you need a manual get in touch with www.hardinge.com (http://www.hardinge.com) - they now supply parts & service for all BP Knee mills.

Take a look at the manuals on the Acu-Rite web site www.acu-rite.com (http://www.acu-rite.com) . I don't know if Acu-Rite made your DRO, but I bet a lot of the operation is the same, no matter who made it, and the Acu-Rite manuals are really good.
