After years of reading random copies of HSM and MW picked up at a local smoke shop (who just dropped them), I finally subscribed to both. Spreading the wealth (what little there is) the way I see fit before someone tells me how to do it :) Den

My local book store is spotty to. Now I have to get some back issues for a project in the magazine that I only have two sections of.
I think I will find a subscription under the tree :D
I don't normally subscribe to magazines as they've ended up in an unread or partially unread stack. I tend not to remain interested in the general topic but do enjoy specific projects or tutorials and will buy off the rack in those cases. Our friend Mad Scientist sent me a box full of several year's worth of HSM mags and I can't read them fast enough! Definitely sensory overload going on, but it is great to see, one right after another, projects that span multiple issues.
That's been another interest limiter - I lose interest in topics that require waiting 8 months to complete. A digest version would be sweet!, and now that I've seen the light I'm going to subscribe too. There's something I've not been exposed to until that box showed up and that is the advertising. I've found dozens of useful ideas and solutions while scanning the ads and that alone is worth the subscription price. Who'd have thought? :)

I love the mag.. I bought the full set about five years ago. But I have noticed, as my skill level increases the attraction to many parts of it decrease. I still subscribe. Prolly will till the money runs out (soon LOL). Then I will just ebay the set and go off in a new direction... JR
