Thanks to the forum here, I've discovered that my recently obtained set of castings is of a "Lady Stephanie" engine as made by Reeves. Does anyone have blueprints for the engine? I have been unable to obtain them from Coles' or Reeves.

Reeves sells the plans separately, I think. See http://www.ajreeves.com/feature_june.asp#lad

Don't worry about ordering from England. Thanks to the magic of plastic, if you give them a credit card number they charge in pounds on their end, you get billed in dollars on this end, and it all just works.

Another option, maybe better, is to get the construction series that was published in Engineering in Miniature magazine. TEE Publishing Co. ought to be able to supply the relevant back issues. I've always had very positive dealings with TEE. See http://www.fotec.co.uk/mehs/tee/

SGW:
True. But the back issues of ME may cost more than just buying the plans. They are $8.75/issue (Canadian dollars) here.

Engineering in Miniature -- not Model Engineer. (But the point remains....)

So what does a Stephenie look like? I have a daughter by that name. Maybe I'll have to build one for her.
