Anyone got a manual on one of these please.
Need to check some stuff out with some bits I have, or rather don't have.

I guess you've checked John, but just in case, is this any help?

Someone will probably beat me to this but... I may have a copy here somewhere. Which one? It seems to me that there were 2 different ones. Might have been listed as collet size instead of big and small.

I got a 10 inch head John . I do not have a manual but I have some info. They made 2 heads a 7" and a 10" and and some changes over the years on the 10 " I think Rockrat has one also.
http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/vannorman/ some info here and here. If nothing else ask me what you need I may have some info. Bunch of heads on e-bay under Van Norman.

Heres the 7" - it looks like a dividing head but smaller. (I'm sorry, I'll stop)

I dont however see a copy of the manual. Sorry. If you have the 10" let me know what you need and I can get a photo of it. I dont have the original footstock. I had to find one that was close.

So whats the word John? Did you end up with what you needed? And if so, did you get a manual that we don't have? Share the wealth!

I found the table of leads and divisions on the Van Norman Yahoo list and that's all I managed to find.
I passed this on as it was for a friend but I think he wanted more of a spare parts list.

Thanks to all that replied and for the help.

Their aren`t any spar parts . The head needs all of them to work right .They are pretty simple not much to one.

I know that and you know that but some people need a 12 page manual for a screwdriver.
