    Seeking knurling tool advice....

I have a job that involves knurling a large quantity of 5/8" dia. TP304 stainless rods for a length of 18". Currently I have several knurling tools, two of them are the type that are fed into the side of the work, they don't work well due to the material spriging, and I have an el-cheapo clamp type knurl, which has given me half way decent results, but takes a lot of fooling with as it won't hold adjustment well. I've been looking at a Dorian tool (No. KTW-109) that has rollers above and below the work, it costs about $400.00. Has anybody had any experience with this tool or know of one that is better suited to what I'm doing? Thanks.
