These are for a pressure oil gun. They can be purchased....or better yet, made from a grease gun with some added seals. I think a guy could probably figure it out on his own but I recall reading that Guy Lutard had a diagram and instructions for sale (check out his web site at www.lautard.com (http://www.lautard.com) )

You need an oil gun..like a grease gun with better seals ..search ebay .

lube once a day ..........or twice a day ..depends on how much work your putting the machine too.

the two close fittings ..dont know what you mean......could be the traverse stops.

all the best.markj

I too just purchased a BP mill and it had zerk fittings but I think they were filled with grease, but am unsure because the day after I got it I had back surgery. I have yet to go to the shop and disassemble, if I do find grease on the gibs and ways what should I do? Also I noticed some oil on top of the table, looks like it came from the spindle, any ideas?

The spindle is a loss system. Not a problem, actually a good thing. Proves they actually oil it. :D

Grease on the table, just buy/make an oil gun and oil the crap out of it, running table back and forth, it'll flush the grease out in short order. Then wipe up the mess, and make chips...
