    More LED lighting

I got this Waldmann 3W light on ebay the other day, not given away but only a fraction of list price. Just finished making a bracket for it, and tried it out.

Chucked up a bit of scrap stainless pipe & ran a boring tool in, the great thing about this light is that you really can get it to illuminate a bore and still get your head in position, because of the combination of a small lamp head and the gooseneck mount.
If I'd spent a bit more time I probably could have found a way to get a pic viewing the actual cutting tool, but there was a cup of tea waiting for me in the house

and the same view with flash

It should be very useful and OK for point lighting if the general lighting is good enough, but some sort of flood lighting might complement it well.

The supply box is labelled "Sec 700 mA Max 10W" where the lamp is only 2.6 or 3W. Does that suggest that if the need arose I could use the same box to supply another 6W or so of LED? All I know about LEDs is what I've picked up on here.
