I have this old "Prize Machine Gun" side by side double 12 gauge shotgun that is missing two parts in the left sidelock.
The parts are the mainspring and the coupler.

Where can I find parts for this old gun???

Here are two places to try to find parts for your shotgun:

http://www.dixiegunworks.com/default.php?cPath=22

http://www.e-gunparts.com/dept.asp

They are good places to start the search.

If you could email a picture including a rule or some scale to compare the size of the needed parts, I may have them. I have several old shotgun actions that look like the one in your picture. Most of the parts appear to be hand fit, but should be close enough to refit and use. Hope I can help. Tom

Thanks for the offer.
I will try to post some pictures with a scale tomorrow.

Bill its very unlikely anything thats already been fitted will be right.
May get something to work but it wont be right, length from turn to stud, stud size, stud to rebound, stud to hooks dimension critical within a few thou on that one.
You are looking for a left hand swivel of unknown length, bear in mind a few thou will put the spring off the plate!
Spring is quite long as well and rebound. The other hand is a quality spring, it looks like it will not collapse and pull up straight like any quality gun.

If the gun is worth something there is only one company that makes and repairs lock work for the trade and thats in UK.
