I hope someone here can help me...

I'm looking for a supplier of fiberglass and carbon fiber sheet material. I have searched online and found many companies that sell the cloth, resin, etc., but I'm looking for the finished product in sheet form. Anyone know of anywhere I can check?

Don't know if this will suit your purposes or not, but try McMaster-Carr (www.mcmaster.com).

See pages 3303 & 3304 of their on line catalog.

I have gotten the red "Glastic" electrical grade fiberglass sheet from MSC, look in the materials section of the big catalog. They had other things also.

For odd kinds of plastic materials, also try "Small Parts Inc", I forget their URL, but www.Google.com (http://www.Google.com) should find them.

Try www.thomasregister.com (http://www.thomasregister.com) If you can't find it there you won't find it anywhere. They list over 85,000 US manufacturers and distributors as well as the ability to search world wide.

Glastic is electrical grade fibreglass & super strong.

Aeronautical supply stores should have carbon fibre and kevlar.

Linen Micarta can be purchased from Wesco/Westinghouse in sheets and blocks. The Micarta is also an electrical grade item that is often used in knife handles.

I have dealt with Jim at Express Composites in Minneapolis(near the bottom of that page) and he is not only very knowledgeable but also a heck of a nice guy. I would guess that most of the places on that page will have what you're looking for. Good luck.
