My wife has decided we need to be closer to our daughter in MO. The problem is moving my shop, I've got my Logan and mill drill sold, planning on replacing them with larger machines after the move.

The problem is my Cincinnati 16" shaper, great machine, still has frosting on the ways. I doubt I could find another one in as good of shape. So the question is, do you think a regular moving company would move it? I have a fork lift to load it with and a friend with another forklift to unload it in MO. Any ideas or suggestions. Oh, I live in No. CA. Thanks.

ABF will drop a frieght trailer at Your location, pick it up after You load it , and then deliver it to a specified location for You to unload.
You can have the whole trailer or a part of it sectioned off with a plywood bulkhead.
Call them for a quote.
I helped a friend move to Ark. and we filled the whole trailer...28'.
I was not on the rcvng end.

Ask the moving company, when I moved I used a local furniture mover, but did not include my Bridgeport in the move, on moving day the movers saw it in the garage and wanted to know if it was being moved also, they told me thy had moved machines before and it would have been no problem to move, I moved mine myself because my shop wasn't built yet. So ask thy may be able to move it for you.
