I think that would be a pretty good deal. We would have to shoot it at least 2 dozen times to have fun.

The last , really long one, was, I think ,the "Paris Cannon" of WW1 fame. Wildly inaccurate. Because of the metalurgy at the time, every time the gun was fired the barrel expanded just a little. The ammunition was incrementally larger to accomodate the increase in barrel diameter. At leat untill the limit of expansion was reached and then the barrel was changed.
Most, if not all, of those guns were Krupps finest.

couple of years ago i saw scale model one built to scale that used a rifle cartridge. it was very cool. wish i had taken pictures. an insane amount of work....cool
