Let's try this again, couldn't get the link to work the first time.

I am looking at this QCTP on E-bay and wanted to ask if any of you guys are familiar with it, I have a HF Chinese lathe so I don't mind buying import parts but still I don't want a piece of total junk. If it is decent then the price is right but if it is not even worth that then maybe I should just get the Phase II?

Get the Phase II and buy the wedge type.
You are not buying an Aloris or Dorian.
At the very least pony up and buy the
better quality imported one. You are not
saving anything in buying the cheapest
product available. Buy for value. Not Price.

I can't comment one way or the other if this particular QCTP would
be of any value or not. So I should just keep my mouth shut.
But did you notice about halfway down the listing in big red letters
"Quickly Changing Toolpost". I thought it was funny.

Not in any way inferring that this has any bearing on the usefullness
of the tool.

There is nothing wrong with this QCTP. Piston type QCTPs are a good choice for the HSM. It will work just fine on your HF lathe. Discount machine shop is the Ebay site for Shars:

I think you should look here first:

I am very happy with the one I got from this guy and he's pleasant to deal with. Suggest you buy as many holders as you can afford at $10.00 apiece as they get filled up fast. My next purchase from this guy will be the 5c chuck for the lathe.
