Has anyone purchased the Spin Index that Grizzly offers? Any comments? At $32.95, it looks mighty tempting.

5C, 1 1/8" cap., 2 1/16" travel, 360* by 1*.

Not a bad price for an import. They are handy for indexing, but might lack the accuracy for precision grinding jobs.
Better than none at all.

I have a Phase 2 spin index that I use to grind down punches on the surface grinder.
It does just fine.

That looks like a Bison Spin indexer (nice, but not as nice as a Harig, Taft-Peirce, or Suburban)

I would tell Grizzly that if it does not look exactly like that they will be getting it back (bait & switch). Most cheap import spin indexers are crap - you have been warned.

Like all cheaper machinery, first step is to completely disassemble, clean, deburr, and replace cheap fasteners with good ones. You'll be happier and know your equipmentr better.
