What resource do you suggest on what type of tool to use for a job. As you can see I am ignorant of the process. I have a hardinge horizontal. I look at the enco book at the different types of tooling, and am not sure what works best. Are end mills pretty universal for making things flat and cutting sections out? I can see that the keyways work with the slotting tool, and the beveled slots and undercuts speak for themselves. Thanks for any help on this. kevin
