My wife found that a few years ago and got me a subscription and some 'void a warranty ... poke out an eye' tee shirts. Didn't renew because I'd rather spend time doing than reading and it has more of what borders on crafts I am not that interested it than say ... here (sans the rants).
but the fact it exists it is really good because it shows there is still a marketable population of geeky people interested in physically doing things.
The publisher, O'Rilley specializes in computer/technology books so the projects are apt to involve electronics. They put on a big show in late may around the Bay Area my wife wants to go see ... maybe after the big one and that part of California has shifted up closer to Oregon :D
