I got an unused, still in cosmolene Troyke U-15 for $175. I also got a set of 6 micrometers in a fitted wooden case with accessories, still wrapped up from a recalibration, for $40. I just can't believe it :)

Oh yeah, that was the local pick-up price, not shipped from the Northeast.

They must have bought the troyke and realized they would need a forklift to put it on the table and there it sat. ;)

Well I did use an engine hoist to take it out of my BIL's pickup bed. A 15 is sort of overkill, but these thing just don't pop up for sale in Central Texas....hmmm...well...ever!

I saw that on Craigslist - looked like a beast of a table. Did you get the index head too? That was the thing that looked interesting to me, but I was too late. Are you here in the area?

I didn't see the index head; either on Craigslist or at his house.

I do live near Austin.

I really like my troyke 16". You definitely need some sort of assistance moving it. I keep mine on a little dolly and roll it under the bed of my lathe when not in use. Bridge crane does the job of getting it up and down off the table.

I had an 18" Troyke I bought for $35, at 350 lbs had to move it with a shop crane.
