I think it's a dentist chair but I don't know. It will make a nice project. Anybody know any thing about it. Savvied it from the scrap yard. Got it off the scrap mans trailer on the way to the junk yard. I gave him $50.00 for it.

Those go for some decent money in good shape. Looks like a good specimen for a resto.

The only thing I see missing is the set cousin. Their is one wood armrest with it. So I can make some new ones. The pump needs oil but it dues gurgle when you pump it, hopefully that is a good sigh. And no I'm not single but it looks like I will be getting a new Camaro tomorrow. Remarkably their is nothing bent or broke it was on its side on the junk man's trailer. I'm thinking candyappel red and a chrome job. With brown leather trim.

Barber's chairs don't have head rests. It's a dental chair.

Maybe that was a optional add on for shaving?

On Pawn Stars having the headrest was a big deal. Hard to replace. It's not a gyno chair the things that look like a syrup are where the arm rests go.

But it could be. Could be lots of fun ahead ;) ;)

Restored ones are going for 5 or 6 down this way

"It's not a gyno chair"

Tis if you're a contorsionist :D

Some of you are gonna hate me for saying this, but you might consider convert it into a swiveling, adjustable height work table. After my grandfather retired, he had a small workshop in which he repaired lawnmowers & other small engines and that's what he used. Turned out to be a terrific idea as far as I could tell. Just a thought. If it means more to you as an antique, by all means restore it.

This was my wifes Valintines Day present a few years ago. Boy was she ever surprised!!!
It's a Koken barber chair I hauled back to MO from FLA. This chair has a stool built in for the barber to sit on as he cuts your hair
Jeremy is correct, barber chairs have head rests also.

THANX RICH

People say I'm getting crankier as I get older. That's not it. I just find I enjoy annoying people a lot more now. Especially younger people!!!
