View Full Version : Ex-Cell-O Mills -- Opinion ?

My father was a tool room machinist in the Canadian factory that made Ex-Cell-O milling machines. These were designed to compete with Bridgport mills in the 1960s. The Ex-Cell-O signature feature was the infinitely variable milling speed - done by varying the separating distance of two plates running a belt.

Anybody have experience with these mills ? Are they often available for sale at reasonable price ?

I owned one with the 40 inch table. I liked it more than my BP, but then it was newer. Very nice machines. Solid.
