Someone brought this tool into my shop and I can't seem to remember what it is. Please be kind to me.

I remember using one of these a long time ago but I can't remember where or why. Thanks, Neal

suppose it depends how big, small could be a chemists spatula, big could be a sheet metal workers body hammer [or whatever they call them]

I would guess that it's a sheet metal spoon. Doesn't have the bends that I'm used to though.

I haven't seen one exactly like that and can't tell the size but it looks a lot like a relay contact burnishing tool. Used mainly by old time telephone central office maintenance people.

I'm with Don - looks like a contact burnisher to me.
