OKay I have taken the headstock spindle apart was quite straightforward and the returning of the spindle etc is or will be ok too I imagine .So now I need a 25 inch 8mm wide belt with 3 continuos ribs runing vertically longways anyone think of a place nearer to home other than Delta which seems to be defunked in the uk anyway.??? Alistair, Your link won't load for Me. Maybe it's just busy, I'll check later.
I can check the local Wood working tool store if You can't find anything on Your side of the pond if You'd like.

You want a 630 J3 Poly vee belt, ring your nearest bearing stockist.
