Now that the time is drawing near to the Workshop, I have received a fair number of questions from those interested in attending and thought I would post some of them here. I will add to this list as I receive new ones (or remember the old ones!).

What is the cancelation policy?
– We understand that an event occurring in the middle of the week can cause all sorts of conflicts, some of which you may not know about until close to the event date. For those unable to attend after registering, we will give a full refund up until two weeks prior to the event (June 8). After June 8, we have some commitments to the college to honor and may not be able to give a full refund; however, I won’t rule it out. The details of the refund amount after June 8 will be discussed on a case by case basis.
What will the class size be and will I be able to attend the ones I want?
– The class size will vary with each seminar. Certain subjects, such as those in which the participant has hands-on time with a computer, will be limited by the number of computers available. In this case, there will be a sign up sheet on the day of the seminar and admittance will be on a first come, first served basis. For those seminars that are limited in size, I am trying to schedule them early in the week, so if there are a large number of attendees not able to get in we can run another one at a later date. I am leaving some free classroom time for the purpose of running popular seminars a second or third time to make sure we don’t have too many disappointments.
Can I park my RV in the college lot and stay there?
– Though this would be a nice option, it will not be available this year. In the Workshop Information thread I list some links to campgrounds in the area, but these are simply ones I pulled up on a Google search and I have no personal experience with them.
Will there be a swap meet?
– I plan to set up a few tables for attendees to place for-sale items on and we have room for some larger items if needed. Check with me first before bringing the big stuff though. All transactions are between the buyer and seller only, Village Press will have no involvement in the sales.
When is dinner on Friday?
– I plan to have the dinner start around 5:00 on Friday. I am sure many people have a long drive ahead of them after the dinner and hopefully this time will be early enough to help them out.
