Hey thanks Andy, that was really swell.
But after having spent the better part of my miserable existence collecting the works of Eduard Kihl, I still think this is my favorite:

One day while searching for Chinese Opera, I got a little sidetracked and found this song. Hauntingly beautiful and sad (to my mind at least). The original title is Osaka shigure (Osaka Rain Shower)

It's a pleasant song, what's the problem?

1. bad lip syncing
2. no words
3. the guy has a beaver on his head
4. everything is s--- brown.

1. Everybody lip syncs anyway
2. Most lyrics ruin a song
3. Looks ok to me
4. Reminds me of my youth

Well the Russian dude is no longer stuck in my head, but I'm not sure Candice is any better. I do find her mildly attractive. I think it is because she reminds me of all the hippy chick folk singers I used to see in the bars in State College (when I was smashed of course). :)

A lot of cool videos posted. It is nice to hear some real voices instead of that synthesized techno crap that passes for "female singers" anymore. Like they said about Johhny Bravo, "it's because you fit the suit". Find some chick to stick in a Lady Gaga outfit and let the post-production wizards make her into the next big star.

I just have one question, what is up with that dude that can hit a high enough octave to shatter glass? I thought he was just playing the mandolin (or whatever that thing is) and there was some girl off to the side singing. When I realized it was him it freaked me out.

Oh, and I never knew what a hurdy-gurdy was. Now I do. I even managed to learn something in this thread. :)

They call this problem a "head worm". That's when you have a song in your head that keeps repeating over and over again.

It's probably a cause for numerous machinery accidents although it would be impossible to prove.

I have the same problem alhough my head worm alternates between "Mary Ann" by Terry Gilerson's group and "Little Red Riding Hood" by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs.

I don't know what to do about it. I'm stuck in the 60's. :D

Well we certainly have an eclectic mix of submissions.;)

Although this entry is most assuredly not politically correct, most here aren't, so what the hell.

While best remembered for a host of hideous qualities, Hitler was also quite the singer. Note how in this rendition of a song, that unbeknown to him at the time, would be part of his undoing, his audience is at first cool and reluctant. Although as the song progresses he wins them over!:D

After they got it going again they offered us a free trip on the ride. I said "NO THANKS" as that song pounded over and over in my head LOL
