Now that I've got an Archer no 1 tapping head, I now need to find out how to use it and care for it. Does anyone have an instruction booklet for it?

They look similar to my Chinese items but without going out to the shop, I can't be sure. I have the User manuals for mine and can scan, upload and post the links later if you wish.

can't help with an Archer but Tapmatic list all their instruction books here.

I agree with John S as most/many seem to be similar.
I haven't run mine yet - bought about 2 months ago - as I've had plenty of diversions. I need to give them a run just to see what their capabilities and limitations are.
You did very well as regards new prices here in OZ as 1AUD ~ 0.60UKP ~ 0.85USD

I bought a set of metric "gun" taps for mine as that are made for power tapping as I am told that they are pretty well universal in a small shop. They are not cheap - but good taps etc. are not.
