There is construction on Geddes road and the ramps to highway 23 are not open. For those of you staying at the Quality Inn, your exit will be on W. Washtenaw Ave. There is no need to get back on 23 for the short trip to the college. Simply follow the directions shown in the map.

For those staying at the Holiday Inn, simply exit 23 at Plymouth Rd. For traveling to and from the college, N. Dixboro Rd. is the best route.

While I do live in Michigan, I am about five hours away from Ann Arbor and know next to nothing about the area. I have heard from more than one person that the driving around there can be a little stressful. I just heard from another, who stated, “Be sure to let the CNC Workshop visitors know about the traffic and crazy road patterns of Ann Arbor. If you are not from around here, you can get lost very easy. A GPS is almost a requirement.”

It sounds as though it might be a good idea to allow a little extra time to get to the event. Good Luck!

After just arriving from the West Coast of Canada in our RV I would agree the driving is somewhat stressful and the roads are in real need of the repair that appears to be underway. I do think that the worst stretch of road is I-90 eastbound in Wisconsin. If there is anyone else at Wayne County Fairgrounds we are close to the washrooms in a Class C with BC plates. Drop by and say hi.
