Hi all,

I need some help from those of you that are fluent in Microsoft Excel.

I am trying to create a spreadsheet with a few of those little drop-down lists, you know the ones that have a little down arrow beside the cell you want to enter information into and when you click on it it gives you a drop down list of choices.

I have searched through excel's help section both internally and online to no avail. Anyone have any idea how to do this? Any help will be appreciated.

try this
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-help/create-a-drop-down-list-from-a-range-of-cells-HP005202215.aspx
fairly easy, also look at conditional formatting, makes things easy to spot

Excel contains a complete BASIC programming environment which allows the creation of all sorts of special functions within a spreadsheet. The BASIC IDE is much easier to use than similar stand alone development environments.

the filter button is usually a quick way to do what you want

however it will give you more drop downs then you may need, but its only a single click
