I've run into a couple of situations where I wanted to round the end of a bar, purely for cosmetic or comfort reasons. I've done it with a file, and it's a real pain and doesn't end up looking that great.
I'm pretty sure that this can't be done on a lathe, but people on this board are full of surprises and clever ideas. No harm in asking, right?
Any thoughts? The only machines I own are a lathe, drill press and a grinder. I'll probably just end up grinding it freehand. I've already scribed the arc with a compass.
