First, I would not make a pimple on the posterior of a machinist or photographer so please view the following accordingly.

This is a coolant pump from a lathe that needed a new bottom. I don't know what they used for coolant but it was not too good for the pump body. I used a dissimilar metal for the repair so hopefully it will hold up.

Test fit. I guessed .010 clearances for the impeller.

Repair done. Paint that will probably last about 2 seconds.:)

Well done, considering the condition, it's surprising that you were able to get the bolts out.

lol at shiny cover on the old corroded pump.
Next weeks project: new coolant pump body :)
