I have signed contracts for the Holiday Inn and Quality Inn hotels. These are the same hotels we used last year and all the comments I heard were favorable. The Quality Inn will be changing its name to the Ann Arbor Regent in December, so don’t let that confuse you, everything else remains the same. For contact info, please see the Workshop Information “sticky thread” at the top of the forum page.

There was a fairly large gap between the price of the dorm rooms and the two hotels listed above and I’ve managed to arrange for an alternative that should help to fill that gap. The Lamp Post Inn will be offering a discounted price for attendees that should be below $50 for a single room. I have yet to finalize the agreement, but will post their contact information when I do.

I have finalized the contract with the Lamp Post Inn, securing a limited number of rooms for $49/single and $54/double. The hotel is close to the college and, according to feedback from some of last year’s attendees, is a very nice place. This is about as cheap as it gets in Ann Arbor.

To take advantage of this offer, be sure to ask Kathy for the promotional code when registering. You will be able to use this code when making hotel reservations on their website or over the phone.

I've added the hotel room rates to the information thread. They are:
Holiday Inn – $91/night
Ann Arbor Regent – $89/night
Lamp Post Inn – $49/ night single $54/night double

Make sure to mention the CNC Workshop to receive the discounts. For the Lamp Post Inn, you will need to obtain the discount code from us prior to making your reservations.
