I don't know if my heartfelt Congrats are in order or my deepest sympathy should be given for a good man put down (they shoot horses, don't they?)? http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//eek.gif Now you can't be eyeing any "apprentices" you know! http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//tongue.gif

On the other hand, if she has her own tools, it can't be all bad, eh? http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//wink.gif

Have you every seen a 5'5" 120 lb woman try to get an 85 pound machine tool out of the trunk of her car?

They put it in the trunk for, and you can guess who got it out. http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//smile.gif

I had women come to my shop and pick up 55 gallon drums for their husbands ins cars. I would ask them where exactly do you want this drum? "can you put it in the front seat" Uh, no. "Can you put it in the back seat" Lady, the first time you hit the brakes, you and your kids would be dead. "Oh, just put it in the trunk, then" Um, who is going to get this out? "My husband" How much can he lift? "He can almost lift me! (Dave looks at chubby 149lb. wife and then at 454lb. barrel) Ok, I will put it in the trunk for you.

So I would pick it up and gently set it down in the trunk and close the lid. lady drives off. Three hours later her husband calls me to ask how he was going to get the drum out of the trunk - I told him "next time - doofus, send your wife with a pickup truck instead of a car, huh."
He tried to tell me he didn't think a drum would be that heavy...
