He's going to have a fine time playing with his Gramps. I hope they live close. That will help when it comes time to change the diapers.

Frank,

That is the plan. He will always, as long as we are alive, receive his birthday presents separate from Christmas. Still, WoooHeeeee!!!!

Congratulations Evan!

Did you know the chances are that genes tend to either skip a generation, or move diagonally in families!

Therefore either Grandson or Nephew/Niece is more like you than your Son/Daughter!!

That explains my Son!!!!!!

the nice thing about gkids (at our ages) is that you now have permission/ability/authorization/OBLIGATION to sit on floor and play with toys, go to g rated movies, play with the toys in dept stores, fish with a bare hook- all so long as you have the kid along for protection.

Congratulations, a whole new world now appears

When you make the cradle, don't use steel for the parts under his butt. Aluminum probably isn't the best choice here either. Titanium maybe??? Evansonson, the Norse gods would be proud.

Congratulations and Merry Christmas Evan.

If you get started soon, you can have his shop complete ( Monarch, Hardinge, Bridgeport, all the good stuff ), for him by his sixth birthday. That wuould be a great time to get him started.
