I had a job where I needed accurate positioning between two holes and a cross cut sawing operation. My solution was to install a 5C indexer on my CNC machines 4th axis. Here's the video,

Very creative. I like seeing possibilities.

Very cool Mark! I now have my little mill running and slowly learning gcode.

nice, when i looked at it for some reason i thought i was looking at a little benchtop mill, till you appeared in shot and the scale became apparent lol
i'm starting out with cnc as all our manual machines are now scrap and hass and fanuc robodrill have taken over, i now now how little i know! even selecting a programe is a challenge, speeds and feeds a mystery, tool wear, disintigrating cbn inserts are the tip of the iceberg, they give you the machine first and wait a year before training you!
i must try building a router or somthing as a crash [pun intended] course!
it becomes harder to learn things as you get older [the stroke didnt help either], plus point is i got to keep all the scrapped tooling [bout 8 tons of it!] for $150.
