I am looking for manuals and information for an Allen Bradley 256K Micropath plus.
This is on a router table set up for making signs.
So far I've gotten it to fire up and move on all 3 axis with the jog control.
No data entry screen, just a keypad and a led display
From what I can tell it is a mid 90's machine. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you are going to have to use DNC to make it go. Is there a serial port on it? Female DB-9 or 25?

Yes, it has a 25 pin RS-232 port on the back but no indication of how to get the machine into a direct mode or even a download mode.
I did manage to punch the right buttons and got it to execute a few arcs as though there was something programmed in the MDI mode and it was executed.
Couldn't get it to repeat tho.
I'm hoping that there is a manual out there somewhere or someone remembers this control.
Here is a pic finally.

Front panel on that looks like an old Creonics plasma control. Was an OK unit, but no-one supports it anymore, and haven't for a number of years.

I think lockformer used it on some of their machines as well.

Well I did some more research and found a company named Linatrol. Supposedly a third or fourth buyer of Allen Bradley. This setup has changed hands quite a few times in the last 15 years.
I called them and they said they may have some info for me Monday when their old Allen Bradly guy comes in.
Hopefully I can luck out on this one.

If I remember correctly we (AB) bought Creonics out of Lebanon, NH back in the 90's. That facility was closed up around 2004/05 and there are only two of the original employees left with us. I miss working with a lot of those guys. I will run the question by one of them and see if he can help.
