This project has been on the bench for almost two years, I finally finished it this fall, just in time, as we have had more snow this year than I can remember. The tractor will really push some snow now with the extra weight. Each block weighs 80Lbs. the rack about 35. I cast a handel into each block for easy in and out of the rack.

Nice job Joe!

How do the UHMW pads work? Is there a female surface built into the underside of the tractor?

The angle block wedges with the poly pads screwed to them match the angle of the underside of the hitch frame. This allows me to use only two pins to mount the rack. I used the pads to avoid any metal to metal contact and to take up any discrepancy in fit since they will compress a bit.

Very nice. I like the cast weight idea. Always wanted to do that for my truck box for over the wheel wells.

Nice work JL, I love the mounts you built. Well thought out. Weights look great too.

Here are a couple pics of how the rack mounts to the hitch frame. I wanted to keep it simple....... two pins, quick on and quick off.
