    enco tapping head

i recently purchased an older ENCO tapping head, 1/4 to 13/16, it has a ball bearing quick- attach to change collets, and someone altered a different collet but it's too loose, no other markings other than "made in france" and a tag "chart" explaining, for each size tap, the clutch adjustment. can anybody tell me where to find collets??? i have looked. unit looks to be 60's to 80's made.

Try going to this web site and look at the Tap Adapter section in the catalog, you might find the one you need there,

Have you tried technical support at Enco? Does the head have a part#? Likely made by Gamet.
