I recently had to get a new inducer motor for our furnace. The old one was a Jakel brand with a 3,000 rpm rating. There are bearing housings approximately 1 1/8" x 3/8" in diameter at either end of the motor shaft and appear sealed. I was wondering what kind of bearing material is used in the bearing housings? The motor armature seems to all metal and a large coil of wire is mounted on the frame of the motor. I think it is a universal motor? Would appreciate your input. Thanks Paul
