I couldn't get at it, or at the related Village Press web site, either. I assume it was down.

I couldn't get on, but I figured it was cuz Neil O'Knopf was green all day. Or he was trying to get green.

It ain't easy being green.

Brent,

Did you mean Neal & Bob, or what.

You have to be real careful what you say around a bunch of wise asses or you get zinged but good. I like that!

Always remember;

metal mite nothing personal, no offense ment,I only ben doing this since 1968 am new at it. Hired out 1969 on Penn Central, became retarder operator 1978 after they got rid of trimmer engines had to pound'em in there. Worked both jobs till 1992, opened my own shop, beats working extra list 24/7. Still mostly B.S. this paticular thread.

bighammer sir,
Well, you got a year on me, I'd better call you sir.
Offered a job on the B & O coal pier as machinist, graveyard shift in middle 70s.
Had enough nights elsewhere.
What'd you do on the p.c. Don't know what a retarder is? in a freight (hump) yard? lotta work keeping that going.

Neil,
No problem. We just made some chips, and took the wives out for a walk, cept for lynn.
cheers,
