That's a really neat design -- Glen was amazing. It's heavily derived from the Cuttermaster tool & cutter grinder:

Some manuals, parts list, and videos here:

Hey Lazlo, I have a cuttermaster and I've looked at that website several times but I can never get the videos to play. Do they work for you or are they disabled on the website? I'd love to see them but I've never been able to get them to work for me.

I should have warned: the videos are HUGE. As in, 1 GByte. They're the sales and instructional DVD sent out with the Cuttermaster.

So download the video, don't try to stream it: right-click, Save-As, and let it download...

Seems like I tried that before but I'll do it again. I'd love to see them. Thanks.

That's a nice grinder, IF you only want to do end mills. I doubt it would be as nice for 5" dia milling cutters.

But for end mills it is well set up, and should do the job nicely. I bought the book that has the plans, then decided it would not handle what I needed.

He says basically nothing about bearings in the article. IIRC they are just "ordinary" ball bearings. If you are a "bearing snob", you could use others, and modify to suit as required.
