Hi, a regard to all!!!
I have need of help for search the thread spindle for to make to work a back plate from 8." the model of lathe china is CZ1237G.
I have tried a lot of times to ask for info you have chinese company factory's on the thread of the spindle lathe , but they is armored and they have never told me what the thread was, because they didn't have an economic return of profit.
I attach here the link pdf for the characteristics of the lathe if it can be useful to someone. if you have questions, you ask without hesitating.. I hope for someone can help.

lathenew,
Your lathe has a standard D1-4 mount, not a thread.

Unless he perchance refers to the threading on the outboard end of
the spindle which is best measured but typically on a 12x37 is nominally
42Mx1.5M but who apart from a wood turner would put a face plate
on the outboard side of the spindle.
